About Wiredly

What is Wiredly?

Wiredly is one app for every journey. Passengers find buses and coaches, reserve seats, pay on board and follow their ride live. Operators use Wiredly Fleet to publish timetables and run their fleet, and crews use the Wiredly Operator app on board. School, staff and private transport and a family safety tracker are coming later.

Can I use Wiredly today?

Not yet. The apps are built and being tested, and are not in the app stores. Wiredly will launch city by city, country by country. Email us to hear when they launch.

Where will Wiredly be available?

We will announce each city and country before it launches. Tell us where you would like Wiredly.

Which phones will it work on?

Android phones first. The iPhone app will follow. The crew app (Wiredly Operator) is for Android only.

Does Wiredly cost anything for passengers?

Finding buses, booking seats, your e-ticket and live tracking are planned to be free at launch; you pay your fare on board, as usual. An optional paid plan with alerts that watch the bus for you is planned. See pricing.

Which buses and coaches are on Wiredly?

Only those whose operators use Wiredly Fleet. The list will grow as more operators join.

Booking and paying

How do I book a seat?

Search from one stop to another, choose a bus, pick your seats on the seat map and tap “Reserve · pay on board”. You get an e-ticket with a QR code.

Why do I need to verify my phone number?

To stop fake bookings from blocking seats. Before your first booking you verify your mobile number once with OneVault, the account you sign in with. After that, booking needs no code.

How long are my seats held?

Ten minutes while you review your booking. If you don’t confirm in time, the seats go back on sale.

How many seats can I book?

From 1 to 6 seats in one booking.

Can I pay by card?

Not yet. Today you pay the crew when you board. Online payment is planned.

Can I cancel?

Yes, you can cancel in the app before departure. The seats go back on sale.

What happens if I miss my departure?

You pay on board, so there is nothing to refund. Please cancel in the app as soon as your plans change, so someone else can have the seat.

Tickets and live tracking

Does my ticket work without internet?

Yes. Your tickets are saved on your phone (encrypted), so the QR code opens even with no signal. The crew’s app can also check tickets offline.

The crew can’t scan my QR code. What now?

Show the 8-character booking reference on your e-ticket. The crew can type it in instead.

Why can’t I see my bus live?

A vehicle is shown live only while its crew is tracking the trip and the operator has switched on sharing. If the signal drops, the app tells you instead of showing an old position.

How accurate are the arrival times?

The app shows the timetable time for each stop and, when it can, an estimate based on the vehicle’s live position. Estimates are always marked as estimates and can change.

Which languages are available?

The apps are built for many languages, including right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Urdu, and have a language picker in your profile.

For operators

How do I put my buses or coaches on Wiredly?

Talk to us. You sign up for a fleet account, which Wiredly checks and approves, then add your vehicles, routes and timetable.

Do my crews need a smartphone?

For ticket checks and live tracking, yes: an Android phone with Wiredly Operator, one phone per vehicle. Passengers can still find and book your published departures without it.

What does it cost?

Pricing will be announced before launch. Listing your buses, routes and timetables will be free and unlimited, a free start with one live bus (a bus running with a Wiredly conductor phone) is planned, and no commission on tickets paid on board is planned. See operator pricing.

Can I manage my fleet from a computer?

Yes. The Wiredly Fleet web portal works in the browser, alongside the Fleet phone app.

Privacy and your account

Does Wiredly track my location?

No. The passenger app uses your location only when you look for stops near you: it sends your approximate area (about 100 metres) to find the closest stops, and does not save it to your account or share it. The live position of a bus comes from the crew’s phone on board, only while the trip is shared.

How do I delete my account?

The apps aren’t available yet, so there are no accounts. To delete anything you sent us by email, write to privacy@wiredly.app.

Where can I read the privacy policy?

Our Privacy Notice, Terms of Use and other documents are on the Legal page.
