How do I pair a conductor phone with a bus?
The crew uses Wiredly Operator, an Android app, on one phone per bus. Wiredly isn’t in the app stores yet; this is how it will work at launch, city by city.
Step by step
Install Wiredly Operator
Install the app on the conductor’s or driver’s Android phone. It works without Google Play services. There is no iPhone version.
Show the pairing code
In the Fleet app or the Fleet web portal, open the bus and choose to pair the conductor phone. A one-time QR code appears with a 5-minute countdown.
Scan it with the crew phone
In Wiredly Operator tap Scan pairing code, or Type the code instead. The phone is now paired with that bus. The crew does not need an account.
Start today’s departure
The crew sees today’s departures with the number of advance bookings, and taps Start this departure. Cancelled departures are shown in red and can’t be started.
Location sharing starts by itself
On the first trip the app explains why it needs location and asks once. Later trips start sharing without a tap. If sharing stops, a “Tracking stopped – tap to resume” notice brings it back.
Check tickets, even offline
Tap Check ticket, scan the passenger’s QR code or type the booking reference, collect the fare and board. With no signal, tickets are checked against an encrypted list on the phone and boardings sync later.
End the trip
Tap End trip to see a summary: tickets checked, passengers boarded and cash collected. The trip ends once everything is sent.
Replace or remove a phone
If a phone is lost or replaced, remove it in the Fleet app or web portal, or tap remove pairing on the phone itself, then pair the new phone.

How many conductor phones can I pair?
One phone per bus. The free plan includes 1 live bus, so one conductor phone; paid plans include more. See managing your plan.
Does the crew need mobile data all the time?
No. Tickets are checked offline against the list saved on the phone, and boardings and positions are sent when the signal returns.
Is the pairing code safe to share?
Show it only to your crew. It works once, expires after 5 minutes and is hidden when the app goes to the background.
