How do parents follow the school bus?
In the free Wiredly app. The school or bus operator gives each family a one-time link code; the parent enters it and sees that child’s school run: the bus live while the run is happening, and a timeline of pickup, on board and got off.
Can anyone else see my child or the school bus?
No. Only parents and guardians linked to a child see that child’s trips, and school runs are never shown on the public map. The roster stores a first name and initial, a class and a note for the crew; never a birth date, photo, address or phone number.
How does the crew mark who is on board?
In the Wiredly Operator app, the school run shows a roster stop by stop. One tap marks a child on board at pickup or off at drop-off, with a few seconds to undo. It works without signal and syncs later.
What if my child is not going to school today?
Mark them absent in the app, for the morning, the afternoon or both, up to 60 days ahead. The crew sees it on the roster.
Will I get alerts on my phone?
Alerts when your child boards, gets off, or the bus is approaching your stop are coming soon. Today you see the same information in the app’s timeline.
