Cookie Notice
Short version: this website uses one strictly necessary cookie to remember your cookie choice. Analytics, marketing and preference cookies are off unless you switch them on, and none of them is in use today.
1. This website (www.wiredly.app)
- Fonts and images are served from our own domain. There are no third-party scripts today.
- When you first visit, a small banner asks what you allow. Accept all, Reject all and Customise are equal choices; nothing optional loads before you choose, and “Reject all” is as easy as “Accept all”.
- If you pick the dark theme with the switch in the header, your browser’s local storage remembers
wiredly-theme. It stays on your device, is only set when you ask for it, and is removed when you switch back. - When the launch-list form is offered, it sends what you type to our server only when you submit it. It sets no cookies.
2. Cookie categories
| Category | What it is for | In use today | Needs your consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | wiredly_consent remembers your choice (a version number, the time and your categories) for 180 days. Our website-security provider may set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots; it expires within 30 minutes and is not used for tracking. | Yes | No |
| Analytics | Count visits and see which pages help, in aggregate, so we can improve the site. We would choose a privacy-friendly tool. | No | Yes |
| Marketing | Measure our advertising on other sites and show relevant ads These cookies may be set by the advertising company. Under US state privacy laws this can count as “sharing” personal information. | No | Yes |
| Preferences | Remember choices that make the site feel like yours, such as your region for local prices. | No | Yes |
Before we start using a tool in an optional category, we will add it to this notice with its provider, cookie names and durations, and it will load only for people who switched that category on.
3. How consent works
- Until you choose, every optional category is off. We also set consent signals to “denied” by default, so an analytics or advertising tag, if we ever add one, cannot store anything first.
- We keep your choice for 180 days, then ask again. We also ask again if we add a new kind of cookie.
- We honour Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, marketing stays off, which opts you out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under US state laws such as the CCPA.
- This covers the GDPR and the EU ePrivacy rules, the UK GDPR and PECR, Brazil’s LGPD, US state privacy laws and similar laws elsewhere.
4. Your choices
Change or withdraw your consent at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent and does not affect anything before it. The Do not sell or share my personal information link opens the same settings with marketing ready to switch off.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking wiredly_consent means the banner asks again on your next visit.
5. Wiredly Fleet web portal (fleet.wiredly.app)
The portal, used by operators and their teams, uses strictly necessary cookies only:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
__Host-wiredly_fleet | Keeps you signed in securely | Ends when you sign out, after 8 hours without activity, and at the latest 7 days after you signed in |
__Host-wiredly_fleet_signin | Links your browser to a OneVault sign-in while it is in progress | 30 minutes |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Same as the session |
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive, the UK PECR and similar laws, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Blocking them will stop you from signing in.
6. Mobile apps
The Wiredly apps do not use cookies or advertising identifiers. They keep sign-in keys in the phone’s secure storage and, in the passenger app, an encrypted copy of your tickets so they open offline. This data is removed when you sign out.
7. Changes
This is version 1.1 of this notice. Version 1.1 added the cookie banner, the four categories and the future use of analytics and marketing cookies with your consent. When we change it again, we will update the version number and, where the law requires, ask for your consent again.
