Guide for operators

How do I publish a bus timetable on Wiredly?

Timetables are made in three steps in the Fleet app or the Fleet web portal. Wiredly isn’t in the app stores yet; this is how it will work at launch, city by city.

Step by step

  1. Publish the route first

A timetable belongs to a published route. Adopt one from the shared route list or create your own, then publish it.

  2. Step 1: route and time

Open Timetable and add a departure: route, departure time, days, start and end dates, class and amenities. You can assign the bus now or later.

  3. Step 2: stop times

Times are filled in from the shared route when it matches. Adjust them with the +5 and +10 minute buttons; times never go backwards.

  4. Step 3: fares

Enter the full-route fare and, if you like, fares for shorter trips. Suggest prices fills in prices by distance, but they are only used after you tick that you checked them.

  5. Save, then publish

Saving creates a draft. Nothing is shown to passengers until you publish it with the Show to passengers switch.

  6. Change it safely

Edit the bus, class, amenities, fares or end date at any time. Change time or days ends the old schedule and creates a new one. The app warns you when a change would affect passengers who already booked.

  7. Cancel one date

To cancel a single departure, give a short reason. Passengers who booked see that the operator cancelled the trip, with your reason and a way to find another bus.

  8. Notify passengers of a cancellationComing soon

Push notifications about cancelled trips are planned. Today passengers see the cancellation in the app.

Questions

Common questions.

Can I delete a timetable?

Only if nobody ever booked it. Otherwise choose an end date, and it stops running after that day.

Can school or staff runs stay private?

Yes. School and staff timetables have no fares step and can use a private route that never appears to the public. See school transport.

Does publishing a timetable cost anything?

No. Timetables are free and unlimited on every plan. See operator pricing.
